Equipment

  • Shaker
  • Martini glass
  • Garnish Spear or Toothpick

Materials

  • 1.5 oz Vodka
  • 0.5 oz Apple Pucker
  • 1 splash Lime Juice
  • 1 scoop Ice
  • 1 wedge Lime
  • 1 whole Cherry

Instructions

  • Fill a martini glass with ice and water, then set it aside to chill.
  • Add a scoop of ice to the shaker.
  • Add the vodka, apple pucker, and a splash of lime juice to the shaker.
  • Stir the ingredients together with a bar spoon.
  • Dump the ice water from the martini glass and then strain the contents of the shaker into the martini glass.
  •  Garnish with a slice of lime and a cherry, speared.
     

Notes

It's important to chill both the martini glass and the beverage contents before presenting the cocktail.  This ensures the beverage will be as cool as possible while it is consumed.

The "Cater My Beach" is our spin on the classic Sex on the Beach cocktail.

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Tumbler

Materials

  • 1.25 oz Vodka
  • 0.5 oz Triple Sec
  • 4 oz Orange Juice
  • 1 splach Strawberry Puree
  • 1 slice Orange
  • 2 whole Cherries

Instructions

  • Fill a tumbler with ice and pour ice into a shaker.
  • Add the vodka, Triple Sec, orange juice, and a splash of strawberry puree to the shaker.
  • Cap the shaker with the tumbler and shake vigorously.
  • Pour the contents back into the tumbler.
  • Garnish the cocktail with an orange slice and two cherries.

Notes

The tumbler is also known as a pint glass.  The pint glass should seal the opening of the shaker when pressing both openings of the containers together.
